"Two Crazy Monkeys in Medellin"

Tropical Escape of the North Ever wonder what it is like under the cool shades of banana trees while in a pool with the sun shining brightly against the blue sky? Seems crazy finding a banana plantation with a pool but it’s crazily possible in Bakhawan, Daanbantayan, Cebu. Two Crazy monkeys  is a small resort that gives you the feel of being exclusive. The place is like a banana grove with tropical huts equipped with air conditioning for small groups. The pool looks up to the sky with banana leaves as umbrellas. A wonderful tropical escape in the north. While it is not on the beach front, the shoreline is just a few minutes walk from its gates.  Your stay is surely a tropical comfort. The cottages resemble a traditional hut but it is equipped with modern amenities; bed, shower, toilet, fan and air conditioning. The open air common dining area is a great place to relax and slow down. You can use the kitchen and make your own meal to your heart’s desires. And of course, the

"Bamboo forest in Medellin Cebu"

GROWING TALL IN THE NORTH OF CEBU,  this Bamboo Forest is a tranquil nature spot that is now a series of tourist-packed pathways, but if you can escape the sounds of camera shutters and boorish visitors, you’ll hear the rustling, creaking, and swaying of b amboo soundscapes. This Bamboo Forest is situated in northern Cebu in the heart of Medellin, "The name Medellin is of Spanish origin and refers to the village with the same name in the Badajoz province of Extremadura in Spain. Medellin became a municipality by royal decree of Queen Isabel II of Spain on September 9, 1881.Medellin was formerly part of Daanbantayan. As a town, it started with only 3 barangays, namely; Kawit and Buenavista on the west coast, and Tindog on the east coast. Kawit, being the biggest and most progressive barangay at that time, became the first seat of government. But because of its deep shore water, the area was prone to pirates. As a consequence, the seat of government was then transferred

"Mantigue Island in Camiguin"

Camiguin   This island has become almost synonymous to White Sand, the tiny sandbar off the coast of the town of Mambajao. But on the other side of the province exists a real island with prestine white sand beach- the Mantigue Island a small island located about 3.5 kilometres off the coast of volcanic island of Camiguin. Named as Magsaysay Island before, this 4 hectares island is filled with  tropical trees and surrounded with prestine white sand beach and crystal clear walter. A declared marine sanctuary, the water around the island is teeming with  marine life making it ideal for diving and snorkeling. Mantigue Island is just a 20-minute boat ride from mainland Camiguin. Boats can be hired to take you there from Barangay San Roque in the town of Mahinog for P600 round-trip, good for six people and an environment fee of P50 each to help protect and maintain the beautiful island. We also tried the SUP Stand Up Paddle for 200 per hour to enjoy and explore the Island.
